I don’t know why we don’t incorporate more black into our color scheme moving forward on a permanent basis. Ole Miss started using Carolina blue and no one bats an eye. The Lady Vols use that same blue as an accent color. Why can’t men’s sports start using black as an accent color?

I've been on the fence about it, but I do like them. I'm typically an old school traditionalist. As someone else said a matte black helmet would have set these off.

Back in high school, as players we loved to play in our all black uniforms. In the mid 80's we play Back in Black by AC-DC when we were in the locker room.
