Man, we had a good defense last year with Chavis and mediocre players (except EB) and think about how good we could be THE Monte Kiffin and VERY GOOD players. It's mindblowing. If we can possibly sway all this talent in less than a month think about how many good players we can sway in a year.

A lot of those players were good. They just were playing in a vanilla scheme.

Ben Martin- 5 star
Chris Walker- 4 star
D. Morley- I know but he's a 5 star
Brent Vinson- 5 star
Dennis Rogan- 3 star(good player)
Rico Mccoy- 4 star
Chris Donald- 5 star

The future is already bright for our defense. It won't take long to install this D. We already have athletes in Kiffin's mold. He'll have veteran secondary so growing pains won't be bad at all.

If he's a vol our Secondary will be great for years. Especially if we get Jackson too. But with Myles we would have a DB class like this: Myles, Gordon, Oliver for now. That's crazy talent and playmaking ability. Plus we have Prentiss Waggner who will be a big playmaker for us. It feels great to be a Vol these days.

They may have been mostly 4 and 5 stars but if they don't produce, i'm ready to call them mediocre. Maybe some of them didn't the chance, and we'll see if they do in the future.

4-5 star potential+ great coaching= Great results and great production. I feel great about the D.

Don't expect to see three safeties on the field, except when defending a hail mary pass.

We should have an outstanding secondary for the next few years, though.

Eric Gordon and Mike Edwards are being recruited to play cornerback, but we'll need to see that no one has to go the prep school route first.

I'm expecting to see those young guys coming off the edge. Like Jackson could play Nickel Safety and we could drop Berry in the slot some or the other way around. This is if he comes here and proves that he's good enough to play.

To tell the truth I don't want a freshman lined up at safety with Berry. Hope that Morley becomes the playmaker that he can be under this new staff.
