How does this happen if it wasn't an inside job?

Also, in the newsclip, notice how they immediately focus on the LGBTQ controversy from last year with Chappelle... as though that is the likely cause or justification.

Something doesn't sit well about this...

I really enjoyed his TV show years back and I’ve grown to appreciate him even more as he doesn’t bow down to the woke crowd. He does equal opportunity comedy across all different groups of people and in the clips I’ve seen it’s not done in a hateful manner. While I personally don’t give a hoot about adults sexual habits, the whole walking on egg shells around the LGBTQ subject is disingenuous for folks in Chappell’s business. JMO

P.S. hope security beat that dude senseless. Protest out on the sidewalk if you don’t like a performer

Everybody makes the connection. Chappelle made a joke about it being a trans man immediately after the fact. The anchor reporting it says he went to the same show at a different time. Why would he endorse the show and Chappelle and simultaneously justify the attack?

That was so weird lol why did he throw that in there

It was like a humble brag but then he remembered he was supposed to **** on dave

I mean, all he did was explain why he's controversial. I don't feel like they went after him at all.

FYI, it was a fake gun that contained a knife blade.

Can it be assault with a deadly weapon if the weapon is not used or even brandished? I figure that's why they dropped the felony but TBH, I'm not even sure he didn't use the weapon. I just read nothing that stated he used it.
