Dave Serrano- if you are reading this

And none of it will matter because you are a nobody with 50,000 posts on a message board.
Great call, Bob. We'll see how long Simpleton Serrano lasts if UT decides to soil itself and hire him. Hopefully, he'd take the folks clamoring for his hiring with him when he heads back to Cal State-Guacamole after getting run here.

Good point. Some answer phones, work cash registers in the bookstore, and police the campus.

This will be my last comment on the matter until a hire is made. If people think my commentary and positions regarding Phillip Fulmer and Bruce Pearl were harsh, they've seen nothing compared to what UT disgracing itself and hiring Serrano would bring. I'll make it my duty to be his own personal TMZ. Any misstep, mistake, or misunderstanding will find its way into the public eye. Anything to help sabotage his tenure, I'll be down for.

I know you said it was your last comment until the hire, so I get it if you don't respond. I'm asking...and respectfully...If they were to hire Serrano, isin't your beef with Cronan, Cheek, The Baseball Committee, the BOT and the Donors?

Why would you want to sabotage him? Why don't you want to sabotage them. They changed the criteria, not Serrano?

His failure would be their failure. Thus, crashing his ship into the rocks gets the rest of them in the water, too.

So, you want a grand overhaul of the whole thing? Who should stay and who should go?

I don't have an issue with any of the folks you mentioned, except the BOT. They're failure personified as stewards of the university and have been for several years. However,if Serrano is hired, I'd consider everyone you mentioned an enemy of UT and root for their rapid and permanent disassociation with the university.

Well, it's been a long time and you probably don't remember, but I'm no fan of the BOT. Meddlers for short. It might be Serrano, maybe Holbrook, anything less is the typical UT, "get an up and comer because we don't want to hire, or PAY a proven winner."

This is the only recent hire, where we aren't behind the 8 ball somehow. I'd like to see them get a coach that Tennessee kids want to play for. That can recruit from here to California and has the connections. If you decide to try to spend your energy bashing him for every mistake he might make, well...to each his own. I for one would like a reason to buy season tickets and support UT in something other than football, that's out of my league.

Dave Serrano isin't doing something wrong. He's applying for a job. If he gets it, your beef is with someone else. JMO.

If they hire Serrano, shoot me a message. I'll sell you a couple of good season tickets.

So you want him and the baseball program to fail so that it looks bad on the BOT? What about the kid's that have chosen TN? How can you get on here and hope they fail because the coach doesn't have a degree and you want it to look bad on the administration? Some of these kids have dreamed of this chance for a long time...to wear a TN uniform and play SEC baseball and maybe even professional baseball. You are a prick period!!

I am hoping that Serrano is the next coach at UT. If the biggest hold up is lack of bachelors degree, then why not have him enroll and finish it up at UT while coaching?
I can think of several advantages to this:
A better working knowledge of what his players are going through at UT. Shows strong leadership of a program that had recent problems in the academic area. Going through something like that couldn't hurt in recruiting. It could show his dedication to all aspects of student life as a member of the baseball program. There may be more, but it was just a thought.

I heard that Cheek was blocking his enrollment.

Hey Hat, who do we need to hire for you to shoot me your season basketball and football tickets? :D

I don't think you want to negotiate a price for hat's seats. He would convince you that because he rubbed his a$$ cheeks in them, that somehow increases their value..:)

I find it funny that "his last comment on this"....was 8 comments ago. That makes you a liar. I'd rather be a coach with no degree than a liar.....lol

Can't wait for your 10 years worth of Serrano bashing.

Why would you root for anybody to fail? You are seriously the most negative person I've ever seen. Go get laid or something....sheesh
