I'd Iove it but if he came back, the NCAA (National Communist Athletic Assoc) would put us on probation if he sneezed wrong.

Climer and John Adams are irrelevant. I stopped reading both several years ago. They bring nothing new to the table.

A big joke is 5-22. Not what Martin has done. Is he a ****ty coach? Possibly, but people over exaggerate especially when they compare him to Wade Houston.

No but they'll be up are ass. Any little thing and they'll get us for it . The NCAA sucks and you don't wanna be on their bad side. Also why would you want to have a lier to represent your university do you understand how bad of a PR move that is?

Closer to Buzz than Bruce, but still better than Buzz. Buzz had only one decent year in 4, and that was still an NIT team. His other 3 years was barely making the NIT, and 2 losing seasons.

Not that being better than Buzz is anything to brag about.

Take a look at the people saying "who cares if he lied, hire him!" and then compare that to the people in the Lambert thread saying UT only wants people of character lol

Our PR is already shot to he!! in a hand basket. We're the school that - hired the scandalous Lane Kiffin, had a provost who made an affair involving Trae Golden a public story, ran off our multi-decade band director, has a chancellor that promised Top 25 in research but has delivered absolutely nothing WHILE undermining our athletic program, had a frat house's chapter suspended due to butt chugging…..do you want me to continue? I can.

You're worried about a guy who got canned for telling a fib about a BBQ? We are below rock bottom in all facets of the university - including PR.

Climer's career was over when Manning won the Super Bowl in 2006. Before that Climer's main topic was how Manning couldn't win the "big one".

This whole "Martin won't recruit a player that is committed elsewhere" flap is the biggest load of BS I have ever heard.

Basketball is different from other sports in that there is so much corruption, a certain amount of it is accepted. Look at calapari... The lowest of the low. How many programs has he left on probation. And yet he's the no.1 guy in the sport.

Fire Cuonzo in April. Hire Tony Jones as interim coach. Hire Bruce Pearl the day his show cause ends.

Watch UT basketball become relevant again and a source of $$ for the University. Watch all the talking heads admit they were wrong. Watch the NCAA go down in flames.

Or...

Hire another bargain coach. Watch Pearl get hired by an SEC rival in August. Watch said SEC rival become a perennial top 25 team that starts a nice little streak against us.
