"I think the thing about Tennessee is I think Tennessee's box is so elite defensively," said Pollack. "It reminds me of Georgia a couple of years ago. And it might not be the upper-echelon player, but the depth is better. So many guys along that defensive line that they're rotating in and they're not just space eaters. And they're not just big clotters. They're twitchy guys that penetrate, make plays -- it's like hockey shifts. And they rotate in. And I think we've seen, they've been shut out the last three games at the half, Tennessee's offense. And Tennessee's team, in every game, they're very much in it. And it's because they're so dang good on the defensive side of the football."

He's not wrong. The D-line really has a hockey line-change feel. I'm guessing a significant amount of the credit goes to the esteem D-line recruits hold for Rodney Garner. We are blessed to have him.
It takes a lot to assemble that group. Thank you NIL sponsors and than you coaching staff. Thank you fans for making this a place they all want to be.

Due to Pollack being a Dawg Grad, I always kept his opinions at arms length on ESPN. But after reading about his firing and his thoughts on how restrictive ESPN was on freedom of speech, his opinions, in my opinion, are much more palatable now. Quite insightful analogy about hockey shifts.

Aaron Murray is pretty open and honest on his personal channels and he still works for the mouse

That is probably his strategy if Eric Ainge won't give them some locker room material then he will, he says that and Kirby fires the team up.
guess it will be 2 fired up teams because I'm sure they'll get our undivided attention. 1st team to 20 likely wins this one. I'm not impressed with UGA's WR's and I doubt they can get more than 14 points without our help.

KIrby is the only coach in the history of college football who has a team loaded with 5 star talent year after year, that "nobody" believes in, "nobody" is giving them a chance, and "nobody" respects.

“This is for all the people who said we’d go 6-6 this year! 😤

…You were literally preseason number 1.

In fairness to Ainge our whole fanbase was pretty confident going into that game.
Ainge was not smart making those comments. GA‘s crowd took that personally and it was the loudest I’ve ever heard that stadium in 25 years of making that trip to Athens every other year.

However you can manufacture it, you manufacture it. The Chiefs have said the same thing after their last 2 Super Bowl wins. It’s a complete load of bull$hit, but it seems to work.

We have to 100% go into Athens and match their intensity for the entire first half. We always have 1 good drive or play and then it completely falls flat . We get through the first half and it’s game on from there .

One of my law partners went to Georgia and was at that game and he told me there were almost no kids and few older/infirm people there among the UGA crowd, it's like there were no wasted seats in terms of noise and it's the only time he's ever seen that. It would make some sense since, with the stadium being open on one end there are limits to what they can do noise wise and that's about the best way I can think of to up the volume.

Avatar seems to have an elite box as well.
