Are my top two. I dont like fisher. Strong could recruit well. The longer we wait the better the chances of no Kiffen or dooley hire.

Shaw is a non doucher version of Franklin, still trucking at Stanford.

I would be very happy with him

I think Mora would be a good hire. He doesn't have an incredible record in the NFL, but comes down to the collegiate level and wins his division right out of the gate and has his team playing for a conference championship. Also, has a no nonsense approach which we could surely use at this point. There were rumors floating around that he has expressed an interest. Worth exploring IMO.

My only worry with Shaw is discipline. I get the feeling he doesn't deal with many off the field issues with his players. Stanford athletes and students are probably much more disciplined and academically motivated than students and athletes at UT.

I'd take either one but I fear that Shaw will never leave his alma mater and Mora leaving UCLA after one year smacks of Lame Kiffin.

Shaw, Gundy, Stoops, Mora, Fedora, Patterson, or Peterson. Get one of those and I'll be happy. If not we need to fire Hart.

Based on what?

Someone actually desired to give him a NFL job.
He has produced solid results at a big time college program.
Winning a NFL division is >>>>>>>>> than winning the Big East.

Going toe to toe with best 2 loss team in country.
