Not once have I ever said anything personal about anybody here. It's always about the beliefs themselves.

It is always about the beliefs, never the person. The fact that you are focusing on the fact that I am talking about religion, as opposed to how you are coming to conclusions tell me how much you really understand about my position.

Start a thread about ghosts, unicorns, and bigfoot as see if I don't come across the same way. Better yet, start one about Islam, and lets see if it is hands across volnation against rjd's insensitive and ungrounded ridicule of what they believe.

I seriously doubt that would get the same response, and I may actually have a few people agreeing with me.

It's obvious they are biased, right? Why do you think that is? I mean, honest scientific inquiry and evidence would have nothing to do with it, would it? Shame on them for carrying out a conspiracy to persecute Christians just for the sake of it.

the grounding in fact piece is the problem. I can no more make that statement than you can regarding the New Testament.

The other regarding mythology and violence I can agree with about Christianity or Islam.

So you think it is equally likely that Jesus arose after being crucified, as it is Muhammed ascending to heaven on a winged horse? Facts and rationality have no place in either of those claims?

I thought it was obvious that I cut and pasted that information, I'm certainly not a scientist. If you feel misled, I apologize. As for the site the information came from, I just googled "problems with evolution". I'm sure the godandscience website has an agenda, but my assumption is that the scientific journals the articles are linked to do not. You have said there is more evidence for evolution than against, yet you haven't attempted to show evidence that one species has ever evolved into another.

How is it any more rational that a random big bang, from a rock that created itself from nothing occurred and we happened to evolve from a single cell?

All are giant leaps of faith. You just try to cover yours with rational academic talk from non superstitious people.

I didn't say that in the least. I also said nothing about either being fact.

What I do say is that you can't refute the existence of a supernatural power, and if said power with the ability to generate our universe exists, it can raise Jesus post crucifixion or can fly a man to heaven on a horse.

I didn't say a word about Science. I said the academic world isn't as unbiased as you would like to believe and gave a personal example.
