True, Karma is just the term used when something like that happens. I had no idea that you would go Capt Literal and spend time trying to explain exactly how Karma works and how it was not appropriate in this situation.

But, I"m sure I'm speaking for everyone when I thank you for the deep thoughts you infused into a sports message board thread.

That's why basketball isn't, and will never be a part of your profession. Aaron Craft has consistently been one of the best point guards in college basketball.

I think I took Dayton in the VN bracket. I know I took them in Buffett's Billion $ Bracket.

None the less, I don't care for Craft. I've never cared for Ohio State either. That's part of my dislike for him. Maybe if he went to a school I don't dislike, I wouldn't dislike him as much. But, screw Ohio State :)

I'm with ya about Ohio St

Pearl's an idiot for lying and even letting them show up in the first place but the Craft's knowingly put themselves and Pearl in that situation and then snitched about it. That's everyone's problem with them. If they were "man enough" to knowingly help a coach commit a violation then they should've been "man enough" to stand by their decision. They're cowards that's what it boils down to.

That's a fair way of looking at it. I just wonder why Bruce thought the Craft's would help him cover up the cookout when Aaron had already signed with Ohio State and Tennessee had just beaten them that year in the Sweet 16? The Crafts had every reason to want to see Pearl in trouble. Ohio State and Tenn had some intense games when Pearl was here. I'm sure Matta was encouraging them to assist the NCAA with their investigation in every way. Pearl was either naive or just dumb for calling Craft's dad. They were not his friends at that point.

Glad to see Craft miss that game winner. Eff the Craft family.

Aaron Craft had a chance to win the game for the Buckeyes, but he missed a shot at the buzzer after roaring down the court.

Karma's a ***** Aaron Craft, just ask Lane Kiffin!

Correct if I'm wrong, but wasn't craft the one who turned pearl in?

It would make sense that the NCAA's investigators obtained the photo from Craft or his dad but I still don't understand why Pearl called Craft's dad after being confronted with it. Where did Pearl think they got the photo from and why did Pearl think that Craft's dad would help him cover up his presence at the cookout since Aaron had reneged on his commitment and signed with Ohio State (which has a bad recent history with the SEC)? The NCAA's Committee on Infractions made a big point of Pearl's alleged "tampering" in their written inquiry to Tennessee's administration in Feb. '11. It is hard to understand what Pearl could have been thinking by contacting the Crafts during that investigation. God that was stupid.

I am glad that Ohio State lost but the Tennessee fans that are bitter at Aaron Craft over the firing of Pearl are misguided. Bruce was the liar not Craft or his dad.

Yeah, well--have you ever been on a joy-ride in a sweet car going about 100 down the freeway--and then reported the driver to the Highway Patrol for speeding after you got home and thought about it?

I will NEVER figure out just why Bruce thought that he had to lie about it...but, please.......it is NO CLASS to report someone for just providing you with a good meal and a good time at his home on a recruiting trip.....

Yeah I don't get it either. Craft didnt break any rules. Besides that I have heard some really great things about him off the court.

Help me understand. Pearl was breaking the rules by having Craft there, however, Craft consented to be there ...and did nothing wrong?
