terrible racing.


Note: 3 of my 4 fantasy racers were taken out in the wreck. I swapped Gordon for Harvick yesterday. Dumbass move.

Daytona has always been boring for the first 150 laps(other than the big wrecks). Talladega has always been the better restrictor plate track.

Exactly. It's always been follow the leader at Daytona. But it always sets up to be a wild finish, when every car is in contention at the end.

I highly doubt that the residents of Newtown are proud they have a car in the Daytona 500. I am not so sure they are gathered around celebrating this.

Wife and I just tried to watch. Really, I don't see how people get into it so much. Just like the nba and playoffs, somebody let me know when there are 10 laps left and I'll watch.

DW made the point several laps back that nobody can afford to pull out and make a move for fear of getting shuffled
. This isn't racing, it's just a parade of cars at 200 mph.

I really hope a lot of drivers are saving something for the end. This is worse than usual at Daytona.

As much as people complained about the tandem racing, at least they were dicing it up for the lead lap after lap.
