:pSorry, seeing the thread reminded me about qualifying. I watched some of practice yesterday. His tire went out on him and he ate the wall hard.

They said he would prolly be going to a backup but I never checked for sure.

No reason to be sorry, it was my gaffe. I always check practice speeds and anything like having to go to a back-up car, but I was real busy both days. All I checked was practice speeds. BTW, don't let anyone know my strategy. :crazy:

Yeah, same here,Broyles. I was out of town all week and just came back Friday. I took a quick look at practice speeds and that was it. As it turned out it didn't matter anyway with Menard winning the pole.
