For the 3rd week in a row no one picked at least 3 top 5.

the 3 of mine that didn't make the top 5, seemed like JR led all night, but he lost a lot of spots there when Johnson went into the side of Kyle Busch. Mark Martin was constantly in the top of the field and was racing 3rd there for a while and Hamlin even lead a few laps for a while I think and was having a solid race until he wrecked

and sense I'm a noob at this, how is the point system done?

You get the same Sprint Cup points that are earned by your picks, plus 25 bonus pts for picking the winner, 15 for picking 3 of the top 5 and 50 for picking all 5. There are 20 bonus pts for picking the pole winner.
