Guys being All-American's doesn't have anything to do with our rankings, outside of us seeing them once more and getting another evaluation. But being named to a game doesn't matter to us, especially since the picks are pretty arbitrary (none of the Whitehaven three got invited to a game). Friedman handles McDaniel so he can speak to him.

If the rankings would just be more consistent and not a popularity contest for which school you pick, then people would not have an issue. The reasons for moving a player up or down the rankings is to broad.

This is why the Coaching staff doesn't really care what these guys rank a player. I'd put this staff's evaluation of a player over the clowns at rivals or 247 any day of the week. That's why I don't get so tore up about our staff offering a 3 star cause they see some talent that fits what they want to accomplish.

I'm thinking it's more because Rivals and the US Army AA game are linked together, and they are competition towards the UA AA game. I think that's true, I'm not sure, but I've always noticed that Rivals pushes the US Army game more, and doesn't seem to value the Under Armour one. JMO.
