kptvol, show me a quote by me saying the kid was great and that i wanted him in the first place. Cuz i was never sold on this kid, people just like him because he is like a Jamarcus Russell body type. He has a powerful arm but is not accurate. Watch his video's for yourself all his downfield throw aren't close to the WR, hang in the air WAY TOO LONG, and WR did all the work. But, those of you who think he is the next Vince Young are smoking CRACK ROCK, he is no where near the athlete Vince Young is. I don't care if he comes here, with Coleman and Stephens hear the kid wouldn't see PT until his JR year.

DC Jefferson had some interesting things to say about UT in his latest Rivals interview.
The 6-foot-5 240lb. qb had publicly named the Vols his leader a few months ago, but his feelings about the Vols have changed...
Jefferson says the Vols don't talk to him anymore...and he even went on to say that the coaching staff has been "disrespecting" him...he says we're no longer on top and he's now open to everyone.
I wonder what our staff did to make Jefferson feel disrespected.
DC did say, though, that he plans on visiting Tennessee in the summer.[/QUOTE
Just so you guys know before you take that quote from the interview and run with ,D.C. Jefferson did not say that in that interview the only thing he said was that they don't contact him as much and he wanted to leave all of his options open because you never know what might happen along the lines and as far as his grades he has a 3.0 so if these are bad grades what more do you guys need to be pleased. The school that he is at, the talent change year to year which is a 4A public school and has run oriented offense. Our RB and FB had a combined 2300 yards between the two. We don't have the luxury of getting the best of the best so as long as he continue to do what he has to do on and of the field someone will love to have him. BY the way if he said that why would he want to come up to UT for a week and learn more about the school, come on put two and two together. The reason i know this is because this is a close relative writing this and trust me he would never say that about UT.
go to page four and read the truth about d.c. jeffersonDC Jefferson can go shove it. Trust me the reason the staff has stopped talking to the kid is because the kid is a Dum@zz, and the kid has an un-accurate arm. Did you see his videos. We need to be looking at the WR's on that team an not D.C.. All DC did was throw the ball downfield and his WR had to go get it, so much that they were making him look good. Im not sold on this cat, and i could care less. We wont even take a QB if he is not a 5-star, and ill bet DC won't be a 5-star. DC doesn't have speed and is not that accurate.

So everything he said was taking out of context?
you guys are going to believe what you want anyway but when push comes to shove you guys will see, and he's not upset because he is not center of attention because he's really shy about interviews anyway. oh and by the way those film that you see on him is mostly soph. film so you can't judge him on those.

This will get interestingopcorn:

It just seems funny that everything he said was misinterpreted into bashing UT.
well i'm sorry you feel that way but he did'nt say it and i've already contacted rivals about and they will be editing it right away. so much love for UT.
I've never met the kid, I shouldn't have judged him before I met him, so sorry to upset you. There have been guys that acted like D.C. sounded here before and they were a drain on the team.
I'll take your word over rivals, however if you know him/related to him though

If DC didn't say those things, then Austin Price is making up his own stories and quotes to support them.
