If we get him the staff can't evaluate because he's obviously a cancer and a guaranteed future transfer. No melting down if he signs with CO or flips to Maryland / Florida? Or can we go nuts again? Just trying to prepare myself for all possibilities
Or he made an emotional decision and was tricked by Deon and believed the lies. Came to the realization that he needed to go somewhere for development and thought through his decision. A lot of assumptions about someone you know nothing about. He will be. It’s undeniable. Sure he could commit here, play here, be great. But every off season he will hit the portal and shop for more money or even just the attention of being recruited again.
Anyone with eyes can see that’s the type of player this guy will be.
You’re making the same assumptions just in the other direction, no?Or he made an emotional decision and was tricked by Deon and believed the lies. That's exactly what he would be like .... but nevertheless, you have to sign him if you can. He's too good of a prospect. He will be. It’s undeniable. Sure he could commit here, play here, be great. News flash, every player that does well will know exactly what some other school of need will pay each off season. I’d rather deal with a roster of studs and headaches than lose gamesHe will be. Then we'll dump him if he does... Heup showed with the Clemson RB that came in that if you're not bought in, your out... quickly... So he will fall in at UT, or will be out, his choice. He will be. It’s undeniable. Sure he could commit here, play here, be great. But every off season he will hit the portal and shop for more money or even just the attention of being recruited again.

He's not. He's just saying it could be either. It's possible that he did all this for attention and he'll be a massive headache, it's also possible he's a high school kid that got caught up in Deion Sanders' sales pitch. If there's anything we can say about Heupel he's done a good job managing the team culture in the midst of all this NIL turmoil, so I won't worry either way. You’re making the same assumptions just in the other direction, no?
