'24 DC OT Jordan Seaton (Future Portal Entry)

Jordan Seaton, Offensive line

ESPN 300 rank: 19

Where things stand: Seaton is the top uncommitted prospect in the class and is ranked as the No. 1 offensive tackle. He's a 6-foot-5, 310-pound recruit from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, and has had some of the biggest schools in the country after him. He recently released a top seven consisting of Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Oregon, Tennessee and Ohio State. He hasn't tipped his hand much in his recruitment and likely hasn't figured out which school he will pick. He just took a visit to Tennessee, which could impact his decision, but Alabama, Oregon and Ohio State are also in the picture. We're going to predict Tennessee based on the buzz around the Vols and Seaton, but this one could go a number of ways.

Mr Seaton really likes Heup and Ellerbe a lot. Writing seems to be on the wall if he does sign with Tennessee what a haul of the OL Class. This will excite 25&26 class QB's and the 25 class of elite OT 2 love Tennessee as well. Lets close this deal Coaches. In CHRIST Alone.

Tom VanHaaren, a reporter for ESPN who covers college football recruiting, predicted on Wednesday that Tennessee will secure a commitment from five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton."

ESPN. Enough said.

What an OL haul it would be. Seaton is a gamechanger. Heck, Warren is a gamechanger too. Add Max Anderson and Satterwhite? Shew. Then if either one, let alone both, of Ginther and Perry develop into SEC caliber linemen, it’s the gravy on the biscuits.
Ginther lowkey ends up the best of the bunch imo.

Well they all better be willing to work their butt off in the training room first. I want the days when our lines didn’t get pushed around. GBO

Leaning Vols. Will be a mail biter though.

Season may be a blessing as our coaches are really prioritizing players right now.
great post, as they should. overall team talent isn't great, on offense or defense. we shud be the third best team in sec.

and may not want to bite mail.

Agreed with what you said. I gave you the like for “gravy on the biscuits” 😋

Purely for discussion purposes, what are you basing “we *should* be the 3rd best team in the SEC” on? Conference is about to be even more stacked.

This year, next year. TX and Oklahoma arent exactly the same as they were even 3-4 years ago.

True for OU but I think they’re gonna be tough moving forward bc Venables is gonna have them playing D. Texas is better than they were 3-4 years ago.

LSU. Played in ATL last year and has won 2 NC in the last 15 or so years.

FL. Currently in the cycle Vols were in when we couldn’t hire a competent coach. Not sure if Napier can put it together. But great program overall and 2 NC in last 20 years (although with a top 3 coach in CFB).

AUB. Obviously down but Freeze might be able to get them going. Won a NC in last 15 years.

I think my stance would be based on the last 25 years, absolutely nothing says UT *should* be the 3rd best team in the SEC. It’s why last year was so crazy. If Heupel consistently puts Vols in playoffs as the 3rd best team in the SEC then let the man name his number.
