Respectfully disagree, stipulating that neither of us truly know. We already have 2 Safety commits, and Slaughter is, at least per AP, the highest remaining S on the board and IMO likely to publicly commit at the BBQ. Depending on the odds you can get I'd be willing to bet he's a silent to the staff already. Just don't see them taking Sandy also especially with Myers (and Ahmad Brown, too) still in play if they want another non-true CB.

Fairly certain he wasn’t a take, at least in early May. We’ve got two safeties committed already and lead for both Slaughter and Myers.

Not a bad prospect but clearly not at the top of our staff’s list at the moment. Congrats to the Cocks for their first commitment!

Dude is good. Staff liked him. Don’t think they whiffed, or told him no. Think they could have had him if they really pushed. I’m taking this as feeling good enough elsewhere as opposed to bad news here. Added turrentine and smith, looks like slaughter and meyers (and maybe conyer) in the bag. Corner is where I think we really need help. Would love to see some movement there. With strozier seemingly going Clemson, mitchell and Ahmad brown look like priorities as well as Chris Johnson and kareem jackson down in florida. Jordan Matthew’s and isaac smith also on the board. Not sure who else I’m missing.
