That’s the dumbest idea for funneling money.... regardless if it was intended for that purpose putting money in a fundraiser for children is a bad look to say the least. Splitting hairs at this point. You put it into a charity fund and then reallocate it, it’s at best tax evasion and money laundering and a strong case could be made for theft as well.
