Unfortunately I worked with some of the newer teachers so I know exactly what you mean. To be fair to teachers though, they go to school for 5 years then spend all of their time trying to prove they are teaching instead of being allowed to teach. And students spend more time learning how to take tests and taking tests than actually learning. Oh, you got me started.Don't get me started on elementary school and some of the newer teachers

To an extent yes. The main culprit is standardized testing. Common core is used to have everyone learn the same thing so they can all take the same test. This test is always multiple choice because that's the type of questions that have the highest passing percentage. I agree Rak would be great.. and the best we've had in years eventually.. but i gotta give it to Malone or Marquez until then
