JJ Peterson was the one that came in for Bituli when he went out. Not Crouch.

We’ll need the depth there next year, though. Probably why Crouch will be getting more reps inside.

That means very little towards who will line up there in 8 months. With senior departures, some players will rep new positions. JJ certainly had more practice reps at that position this season. I have no idea who will take the other ILB spot but what I have seen and heard about JJ doesn't give me confidence it IS his job next season just because he came in to play in that spot.

He’s made good strides this year, I think the staff is doing a good job with him and there’s no doubt he’ll be in the linebacker rotation next year unless the kids from Memphis are just phenomenal freshmen.

Absolutely possible. He is very talented. My point is that I am not assuming he will start next season just because he was the guy that came in on the play where Bituli went out.

It doesn't get any better than a questionable relative running a cheesesteak stand opining on a recruit's pronunciation of dog and overhearing one of our best recruiters passing gas in an elevator with the recruit's mom.

If JJ cannot break the LB rotation then he should be moved back to Rb. Clean up his fumbling and he would kick a** for us in that position.
