Trump: "And they say to me, Sir...."

That and "Many people are saying..." Have you ever noticed how quickly he speaks past those words ? It allows him to posit some fact or opinion as semi-embracing it, but leaving himself room to deny responsibility for it. Classic con artist technique of citing supposed authorities in support of what you are selling then rapidly continuing so there is no time for the listener to put up a stop sign and evaluate either the source of "They" or People" or how the conclusion was reached.

If you want to increase the chances of intoxication, just chug a beer or shot every time Trump mentions, "the best we've ever seen or never been done before."

Joe? "White supremacy is the greatest threat to this country."
I thought it was climate change.

Climate change from white supremacy. The coup de gras of threats to our country.
The sun hitting off all the white robes is increasing global temperatures at an alarming rate

Work clothes, to Klan clothes, to relaxing clothes is causing too much water usage when it's laundry time

I think if Biden doesnt freeze up for 60 seconds and piddle on the floor, the news media will consider it (or at least trumpet it) as an astounding success - and most people probably would be surprised at that. Expectations are so low for ol Joe.
That is what CNN is for - to cut away in any emergency (camera will go to Trump's "reaction" if Joe is having a bad moment) and for the moderators to completely pig pile and do all the attacking on Trump.

I am sure Trump knows this and is happy to get down and wallow with the pigs, making snorts of glee. He does better when he is attacking a corrupt system than the doddering old man that will be across from him.

Most people dont really HATE Biden, they just see him as weak, corrupt and incompetent, while being run by increasingly progressive zealots who are completely out of touch with reality. As low as Joe's approval ratings are, they are aces compared to what people think of the media and the "system".

Checked my profile and says I've been a member since August, 2005, so not quite 20 years. I have no memory of how that all started, and I can only guess that I saw a link to it in some Gator forum and logged on to talk football and it spiraled (out of control) from there. I am an older guy, 60, and absolutely do take pride in SEC kinship. I know not everyone does, but I always have and always will.

The two sources of that are, first, the fact that I must under the state's constitution hate FSU. They were independent forever, so there was no identity of cohorts for them, really. Maybe Notre Dame. But then they joined the ACC and I have thoroughly enjoyed watching that conference, despite a few bright shining moments, essentially flounder.

Second, when I was an undergrad at UF we all anxiously awaited the football magazines, usually came out in mid to late August, and they did an excellent job of explaining which players and games would tell the tale in the upcoming SEC race, not to mention how the champ would figure in the national chase, or in the big bowl games. I candidly admit that I miss that.

So, while I will not root for UT when they play Florida, that's one day a year out of 365. (I don't count basketball or baseball because the consequence of a loss in those arenas is usually de minimis and so I am not as vested as in football.) And I am always rooting for SEC teams in the NCAA basketball tournament.

All in all, its just flat out an entertaining place to be. I find the FF fans to by and large be more sane than UF football fans. I think for whatever reason the Gator board attracts more recent students, who do not appreciate the ever-swinging pendulum of SEC strength and weakness for a given team. They'll learn.
Wow…. I guess football fans in general can be over zealous and clueless. It’s good to know that Vols fans are not alone.
