Still an ultimatum year for Holly. She needs to win games with this team. No more losing to Bama, Ole Miss, Auburn, Penn St., etc.
I think if we get to loss ten this season Holly should be gone. Still a very talented team that may end up with better possessions with these players that have left.
I expect to see three freshmen starting if Green is not able to play when the season starts. Even if she can our small lineup would probably be the two seniors and three freshmen.

Bows, out! :eek:k:

But she won't.:ermm:

I'm a fan of the program and will remain a fan even though Warlick is still the coach.:banghead2:

GOLadyVols!

Ok 👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽... so you'll be like a silent partner? Awesome !

Bwahaha! NO! He/she never does. Armchair was educated in the North, which means his/her incessant dark opinions are superior to our own.

I'm from the north😤! Virginian here! Actually I guess people consider that state a tweener but still 😂. I have loved UT since my cousin played there and my opionins of it remain positive !

It does seem that his opinions have been quite accurate over time. I know it's not what fans like to hear, but ignoring reality doesn't make things better.

Whistling past the graveyard.

It's strange to enter a thread, and armchair is the only one who makes sense. Time to play name that tune. What is he whistling? Don't tell me, I know that one.... Ah Ha, Nearer my God to thee? Verdi's Requiem? Turn out the lights the party's over?

No, it isn't funny. But to expect this Greek tragedy to suddenly become a championship contender? I don't care if you bring in 12 of the best freshmen of all time, they won't win without a coach who knows how to lead.

I hope this is your last comment since clearly you aren't a real fan one player (or a couple of disgruntle ones) don't make a program! You think Geno loses sleep when players leave? He lost a number one recruit (Elena Delle Don) and still won 4 championships in a row after that debacle! I support my lady vols! It's not doomsday we have a whole season to go, nobody has played yet! Other teams could lose players to injury or transfers and be worst than us!

Perfect point! Its better to have a 'team' on the floor than a bunch of individuals. Your comment is right on about Geno. From what I have read about him and his team if you don't have the right attitude you are not on that team. I look forward to a new Vols beginning here. Holly can mold the freshmen into a really good cohesive unit.

Well if yall don't like what she's doing bow out until she is replaced and should she win stay away, it is simple as that! She should be given the chance to right the ship! The problems with the program going down hill didn't seem to start until Diamond and Te'a arrived on campus (ironically) not accusing them fully but I am just stating the obvious, now that they are gone maybe we can get back to the team first mentality and see what being a lady vol is all about!

Right the ship? She is sinking the fleet. Quit blaming players, none of them have been here the entire time Holly has been screwing things up. She has rode Pat's coat tails about as long as she could. Not much of them left for the museum.

She may start the season, but I doubt she is here at the end.

The issue I have with "having the chance to right the ship" is that she has had time to do that..... starting with her year filling in for Pat as head coach 2011 - 2012.... and 5 full seasons on top of that experience ... not to mention 30 plus years sitting next to and learning from the best in the business. But of course, Holly is not Pat. It is like Tony Robbins getting up to speak at one of his seminars... His goal is to make you think that you can do exactly what he has done. Sounds seductive, but of course not everyone can do what Tony does. People are different. It really amazes me that many here still call for Holly to have the opportunity to right the ship. She has had 6 full years at the helm ... and with great players...

Holly has been lost ever since she started as coach. The LVs have no identity anymore. We are terrible offensively, mediocre defensively, and turn the ball over at ridiculous rates. We were decent rebounding last year, but that is it. Mercedes should have touched the ball EVERY offensive possession. I screamed it, TV analysts screamed it,even Kara Lawson screamed it. Middleton should have been banned from driving the ball. I saw her on numerous occasions through her first 2.5 years try to take a one on two (or sometimes three) fast break to the hole with the same results - blocked shot or missed lay up. She still tried to play as if she was in high school. To be fair, Middleton did get better in the second half of the year. We just lost a player and coach to our biggest rival in the conference. I can't imagine what would be said of Butch had this happened in football. Holly is a true Vol and will always be, but she is not the coach to get us back in the conversations of the nation's elite teams. We are nowhere near that at this point.

No one's ignoring reality...not even TVol_376 when she gets her Friday night buzz on. (I got jokes.)

YES, I'll admit sometimes he's right. If you stand back and sling mud long enough, some of it sticks. I'll wager at least one time per day every coach's butt has poop on it.

Armchair has been complaining about how wrong the LV's are since Summitt's prime. "No offense... poor coaching..." always something inferior.

Why bother being a fan if it is that displeasing?

Just checking to make sure you're awake.

What if we HAVE met and just don't realize it yet?

I know who Jumper is, but he doesn't know who I am. That seemed to be really off-putting for him. (I've even been accused of being Holly, Holly's mom, or even the reincarnation of Ivy League!)

I just really appreciate the folks on here (and in life) with an easy manner and a positive sense of the LV program.

I mean, we all get miffed. (Good grief, that auto-corrected to milfed!)

But to carry on that negative outlook for years, decades even. Geez, I'm exhausted just typing about it. Who wants to live that life - even on the interwebs.

Looking forward to someday meeting you kind folks.

I wonder now if we have met!! How would we figure that out? 🤔 Like you, I know who CJ is, but he doesn't know me. I have observed him in action. 😐

I have also been accused of being related to Holly and I think I was once accused of being her girlfriend. LOL Both of which could not be further from the truth.

We definitely have the same outlook...and LMAO at "autocorrected to milfed!" 😂😂😂😂😂

I hope we can figure it out... if only we could DM on here!!! 😔

CV needs to friend gule on FB and then we can PM:).
I don't mind differences, but constant negativity gets old, and sheer hatred is unacceptable. (In my book trolls lose out as both:).)

CV, can you make a game? Hoping Gmule can and would love for gule to get up again. Maybe T_V and I can get some of us together for a game, ESPECIALLY if Gmule can make one:clapping:.

That's my stance. Disagreements are fine, (seems so many cannot agree to disagree) but when someone attacks me because I don't feel the same, I will come out swinging and my resolve gets stronger. The negativity does get old and is soooooo draining (and unnecessary and solves nothing). The hatred is unacceptable in my book as well. I will put a hater on blast.

I'm in to meet up at a game! Y'all know it's gonna seem like 10 years before the schedule is released! 😩

You seem to have completely forgotten that Holly Warlick is the lady vols head coach.

SO, what do you advise. Cancelling the season cause all is lost from the get go.

Everyone knows that Holly has to get better results over the next two seasons. That is her window; for a lot of reasons-- contractual, historical and so forth--Holly has 2 years barring some really unforeseen happening.

So, carping about how nothing good can happen while Holly is coach is just plain trolling at this point.

And those of us who are trying to maintain an optimistic outlook, we get it. You and many others wake up everyday and curse the heavens that Holly is coach; every waking moment of your existence is a living hell because Holly is coach; you are tormented by nightmares, you have turned to alcohol to kill the pain of having to live through Holly's reign of terror; you have lost your job, your family, your dog because of the deep, unremitting Holly-induced depression that you suffer from, rendering you incapable of any and all normal human interactions.

Now, if you say none of that true and your life is peachy keen, then how about stop acting like Holly' status as head coach as placed you in such dire straits?
