A leading lawmaker on the House oversight committee is urging the Trump administration to pursue a court order freezing recent wire transfers to Pakistan made by Democratic IT staffers who are accused of stealing computer equipment from House lawmakers' offices and penetrating internal congressional networks, the Washington Free Beacon has learned.

Rep. Ron DeSantis (R., Fla.), an oversight committee member and chair of its national security subcommittee, petitioned Attorney General Jeff Sessions to disclose if federal investigators are moving to freeze recent wire transfers of nearly $300,000 by Imran Awan, a top IT staffer for Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D., Fla.) and scores of other Democrats who was recently arrested on charges of bank fraud.

Awan and several of his family members are believed to have stolen computer equipment used by Congress and penetrated sensitivAwan and others allegedly involved in the scandal remained on the congressional payroll for months after their activity became public, prompting calls by senior lawmakers for an independent investigation in Wasserman Schultz's handling of the situation.

I've never set foot in the Seth Rich thread. Therefore a heartfelt "my bad" would have also been acceptable.

The extent of my knowledge on that subject is that it's been reported that Donny/Jared got with Fox to make fake news in an effort to distract his sheep with shiny objects and loud noises.

So now, Schultz is saying the laptop she claimed was hers and threatened the Capitol Police Chief over, isn't actually hers. It's Awan's.

Perhaps now trying to distance herself from what's on that computer??

She said she has agreed to allow the police to examine the laptop and wasn’t attempting to hide anything. “This was not my laptop. I have never seen that laptop. I don’t know what’s on the laptop,” she said.

She said her concern about the nature of the investigation was what prompted her to warn Verderosa at the hearing that he could face consequences. “I was trying to get more information I wanted to make sure they were following the rules.”

On June 27, 2016, Lynch and former President Bill Clinton met on a tarmac in Phoenix, Arizona for approximately 30 minutes. The meeting happened one day before Lynch’s DOJ was set to release the results of an investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s actions relating to the Benghazi attack in 2012, and one month before Clinton would secure the Democratic Party’s nomination for President.
The next day, Lynch would insist that the conversation was mostly social, and that they only discussed pleasantries such as Clinton’s grandchildren, golf, and mutual acquaintances. Lynch would clarify, “There was no discussion of Benghazi, no discussion of the State Department emails”.
The Clinton-Lynch meeting would likely have gone unreported if it weren’t for the presence of local reporter Christopher Sign of KNXV-TV Phoenix on the scene. Sign attested the FBI instructed everyone in the vicinity of the supposedly-impromptu meeting that “no photos, no pictures, no cell-phones” would be allowed, despite the “social” nature of the meeting.
Days later, Lynch announced publicly the Department of Justice would accept the FBI’s recommendations regarding Hillary’s Clinton use of a private email server during her time as secretary of state.
