To even get some of those 5* recruits to come to UT for a last minute visit was a big + for CJP and staff. 1 or 2 flips would have been nice, but unrealistic imo.
Most needs were filled by quality players in a very short time.......and with a lot of trash to sift thru with the negative national attention brought on by the coaching search. And.....maybe....some HS'ers had a negative vibe on the program in general (BJ and his promises to players and the way they were not coached up). Im sure current and former player do talk to some recruits. JAO.
