To be honest, I'm glad things are the way they are now at the position. Obviously you want more options, but in hindsight, I'm glad Bray got the chance to play early.

Night game @ Lane Stadium. I'm waiting for J. Hosley to have a breakout night Saturday night. The Hokies really haven't been tested this season. Although the defense isn't what it used to be in years, I'm calling for a 34-17 Hokie win. (Clemson beat an overrated Auburn and a Florida State team that was missing 3 key offensive players). Just food for thought.

Meh.

Florida State without three offensive players is still much, much better than Tech's offense. The defense has been decent against terrible teams. No way they shut down Boyd.

If it's a blowout, it will not be in Virginia Tech's favor.

Bray was not an option during Boyd's recruitment. He wasn't even on the radar. Bray was a year behind Boyd. I'm happy with Bray, but Kiffin didn't tell Boyd he wasn't going to be our QB because we had Bray waiting in the wings. Boyd is a heck of a qb.

If Kiffin was looking ahead to the next season, then yeah, it was another idiotic move because I'd sure as he!! take Boyd over Jake Heaps, the one we were after for the following year.

Yep. He was the best offensive player on that team, and quite possibly that conference, the moment he stepped on campus.

Boyd's done a fine job, but Watkins is the key to the offense. Dwayne Allen flies under the radar, but he's been excellent as well.
