Take away that 75 yd run and it was a pretty dominating performance.

It was. I was so freakin proud to see them show up the way they did. They drive me nuts when they disappear a drive right after we score, but damn they looked like a different team tonight. They bring that every week and we'll be dangerous in every game .

we could have easily had 10 sacks but Rattler slipped out of several

The only other negative would be the 4th down play where McDonald some how didn't knock the ball down.

Yea that was unfortunate. He was trying to make a play, it just happened to fall right in the receivers hands. Maybe a little lack of situational awareness. Should have at least been an incompletion and a turnover on downs, but it was just unlucky for us that it ended up a completion.

I like it when our corners play closer and play hard. They seemed like softened up coverage for a couple of drives after we got up 21 and I think they locked back in. But man, they looked like a different unit out there tonight.

I love when our defensive ends are just as fast if not faster than the opposing qbs. Takes a lot of pressure off the linebackers. Good to see arion carter playing aggressive last night and making a few stops

Last night was great to see our defense at work. Hopefully, it was a good confidence builder. That’s the worst o-line we’ll play. I hope they rest up, and get ready to do the same to a MUCH more physical line w the Aggies.

Take away the 75 yard run up the middle before their performance could be considered a “work of art”. Way improved from last year! JMO

And with our continued recruitment of better players, our defense will continue to improve. Future looks bright.
