Good review IMO. We really need to get someone to step up opposite of Cam. I'm also anxious to see TKjr when fall comes around, I think he can start over Mcneil

Agree about TKJr. Don't forget about McDowell either. He might push McNeil as well.

Let these young studs get some games under there belt and we will be set for 3 or 4 years in the back end.

Should get a great nickel back out of this batch as well. A major problem area last year along with (surprise!) Team Speed.

Sounds like some of the unheralded guys from last year are poised to step it up and be really competitive this year as well.

Competition spawns excellence!!!

So glad to see speed, helps cover up some mistakes. Judging from high school films it looks like we have some ball hawks, hope that transitions to this level. Competition breeds greatness.

We are finally getting some talented depth.:)

Size and length too. Simple wr screens have killed us for the last five years. Gaulden + McDowell + TK can are all good sized safety types who can run and hit. Payne + EM + EB (love being able to type that again) bring size, coverage ability and toughness to the edge. And they will be together for a couple of years. Brighter days ahead on RockyTop.

TKJr will be lucky to see the field on special teams next year. Only incoming freshman that could compete for PT are McDowell and maybe Gaulden.

Tkr has the best size out of all of them. Had you watched his highlights? He lays people out. When he tackles it looks like he's literally a man putting the smack down on boys. I know college is different but he's definitely the one id expect to get time.

Should be an exciting spring, especially with these DBs going against some fine looking WRs. Can't help but make each group better, not to mention the QB race that will be throwing to these guys!

Mike Williams is the fastest db on the team?

Foreman is fastest db. I saw him here in Knox in hs track meet last Spring and he smoked everyone. Including Vic Wharton and a few other fball recruits who were in the 100 and 200.

I'm really hoping that between Foreman and Payne we see someone step up at a corner spot so we can move Coleman inside to nickel. I'm not hating on Coleman: he has lots of experience and savvy, but he just doesn't stack well enough physically to gve us what we need on the outside.

I think he'd be a great fit at nickel for us.

With all of the talent and depth we should finally not be so weak at nickel position, it was almost a guarantee play inside the 30 for a touchdown.

agreed - our nickel corner killed us last year

McDowell, Eberry, Gaulden, Payne, TKjr - all will get a great shot on the 2 deep

Cam, Brandolph, Jcoleman will be in the 2 deep - Mcneil highly likely - thats still 6 other spots to fill counting that nickel corner - these FR will be all over the 2 deep imo
