I really enjoyed the pilot. It's got some characters that I think I'm really going to like. It did have that sort of Battlestar Galactica air about it. It might just be me though.
I'm interested to see where the storylines go. I hope they don't constantly dwell on the McCawley/Tarr fewd.

Grant is a good character, he's cocky but likeable.
Doc Yewll's character I really like. She's blunt but respectable.
Irisa I also like, and she's a bit of a puzzle.

Yes my plan worked! :) I thoroughly enjoyed the pilot, really solid start to the show. I'm with you a 100% on the feud, I hope it get dropped/resolved soon. I like the main guy a lot, his "daughter" is intriguing, the doc is pretty funny, good to see Julie Benz back on tv as well. The azz punch cracked me up. The guys that were about to invade the city were pretty badazz looking.

Pilot was pretty good. Especially considering it's a video game tie in and all. I'll keep up with it for a while.

Watching...enjoying...hoping its good enough to last as long as needed to develop its full potential.

So, to be honest I literally have no idea what happened on the last two episodes of last season. Anybody got a recap link?

I was very surprised to see them kill off the majority of the McCawley family in the first episode of this season. I guess the writers weren't really using those characters much during the last season so maybe the actors decided to leave?

I was kind of shocked at this, too. But I wasn't disappointed. Graham Green is a great actor and Rafe was the most palatable member of the family. I honestly couldn't stand the daughter.

I suspect that the Olmecs will become reluctant allies with Nolan and join the fight against the VC.

The daughter really never came into her own. Her character always seemed weak for the type of world these people are living in.

You think that about the Olmecs? I'm not sure they plan to ally with anyone but I could be wrong.

After seeing "racist", I thought it confirmed I was in the right place. But, I was not.

Self mutilation?

Dominion, Helix, Continuum, Haven, and Defiance all gone.

They're hedging their bets on their new shows apparently.
12 Monkeys, Dark Matter, Killjoys, Childhood's End(yet to air), The Expanse(yet to air), The Magicians(yet to air).

It's crazy really. The only thing I hope comes from this is another Stargate show.

Let's kill all the good shows...seems like a great strategy. I guess so, though they air at different points in the year than what they cancelled so they have weird thinking. They were actually building a decent little stable of shows, makes no sense to me.
