Defiance

Let's kill all the good shows...seems like a great strategy. I guess so, though they air at different points in the year than what they cancelled so they have weird thinking. They were actually building a decent little stable of shows, makes no sense to me.

Yeah, I can't defend what they're doing. I mean I've never seen a network cancel so many shows in such a short span. I'm wondering if we're witnessing the death of a network? Bring back SciFi I'm fine with that.

If I'm guessing, I would imagine these 2 probably near the top in cost to make, so Syfy is probably trying to save some money.

Could be, they did the same thing to Eureka. It was in fact making a profit just not a big enough profit for what they wanted so they axed it. SyFy is going to continue to be a low viewership network as long as they keep around the same decision makers they have employed now.

It's an alright show but it's never been a regular must watch for me. I've caught episodes here and there in the past. It's only averaged 1.7 million viewers for this latest season. It's an unscripted, non-professional actor show. They must not be paying the cast and crew of that show much thus making the profit margin far outweigh the cost.

I really like Eureka and wondered why it was cancelled,i'm a big fan of Haven too, will they even finish the season out for Haven ?

it sounds like there putting there money in there new shows,of course it sounds like the guy that took over CBS,way back when, wasn't he the one that got rid of Gun Smoke,Gilligan's Island, the Beverley Hillbillies and others, because he thought it made them look bad ? and didn't it take them many a year to get back to where they were at ?

well that does show how old I am,Gun Smoke may have still be on lol

I can't stand that show,a bunch of idiots walking around with electronic gadgets that they set to move needles and such and say they almost found a ghost

what a load of crap

I guess it is going to be shows like this or the one where they make a mask of something or the other and it is suppose to be interesting

They are finishing out Haven now. It's like in it's third or fourth episode this season now. I couldn't tell you about the CBS history.
