Could the Pro-Vax and Vax-Choice camps stop sniping at each other for a hot minute? Not everyone who has taken the vaccination is a sheep and not everyone who hasn't is a selfish jerk.

Listening and empathy go a long way.

all the big testing sites around me have shutdown, and this is Illinois where the obese windbag governor had 2 lockdowns last year - and no more masks ( except the fools think the unvaxed will still wear them) no more capacity limits either, but yet the media is saying this Delta muslim variant is coming

Covid has nothing to do with religion, and the “Delta Variant” didn’t even start in a Muslim country.
So either you are being ignorant or you are an islamophobe.

Show me anywhere in the media that anyone ever referred to it as the Delta Muslim Variant.
And honestly I’m not sure if it’s because you are dead set in criticizing anything I have to say like you always do or you really can’t see how it’s offensive.

It started in India and I dont care to argue about religion or India - but certain religious groups in the US have been calling it that, iirc, and if it becomes rampant in the US, I can only guess they will get the blame like the Chinese did. Lets just hope it doesnt happen here in the US though

I was looking back at the beginning of the COVID thread yesterday and I think sometime in January 2020 even that early a new "variant" had spread to Australia.

Well to be fair the media never referred to it as the "China Virus" even though it 100% came from China. As a mater of fact, Trump was called racist for using the term even though it was an accurate term.

So why is he calling it the Delta Muslim variant when it’s coming from India which is a Hindu country?
