Conservatives and libertarians have empathy too. The difference is when the people you are trying to empathize with are doing the same anti societal or illegal or negative behaviors that directly affect their “problems” and refuse to change. Depends on his intent. If someone called it the white Christian male variant it would depend on their intent too. Clearly they are doing it for a reason.
