Delvin Jones dismissed from Ole Miss

Remember him? We've had some lucky misses it seems like from the guys Lane Kiffin was recruiting here. This is one of several guys we were recruiting but missed on that has gotten in trouble and been dismissed.

BTW, for those who are curious, Delvin was playing DE at Ole Miss. There was always the question of would he play DE or TE -- some even said receiver.

Dude is a joke. Almost every recruit he recruited has major issues. Dudes not even a top 20 recruiter if u take it all into account.

If you add up the contributions his recruits have made so far, I'm not sure he's top 80.

Stuff like this just keeps piling up. I really don't know how anyone can make a sane case in favor of Kiffin based on his first class here (and those who were at one time committed). Janzen Jackson has produced on the field, but not without a sense of uncertainty always around him.

One thing I'll say though...dude stuck with Crompton and got him further than I ever thought. Maybe he just needs to be a lifetime OC, like his dad was a DC. Other than that, very glad Dooley is here now.
