I'm not sure why he shouldn't have been seated. I have more of an issue with their initial refusal than with them seating him.

exactly. I have more of an issue with Harry Reid trying to re-write Congressional laws as he sees fit than him "backing down".

yesterday morning while i was getting ready for work, the Today show said that Obama was backing out on some of his promises. I didn't get to see the segment, I left the house, but thought that was interesting that they wld say that, considering they swing to the left

great guy and leader based on what? his record in the senate? oh wait, a majority of the time he was in the senate he was running for president, and his voting record? please. I would LOVE to see Obama get into a town hall debate with Mike Huckabee, Huck would rip him a new one..,.

I love how Reid & Co. tried to make up rules about why he couldn't be seated. At least BO didn't make up rules - he just said they guy shouldn't be seated then backed down from that.

CHANGE!

change was all about the leadership clearly evident in changing one's mind to reflect current polling.

A great leader is a movtivator and thinker. Obama excels at these. Senators dont really lead they form a consensus and work together. As POTUS he will show his skill. Just look at the large scale, flawless campaign he ran compared to the joke the republicans ran. I dont see any repub on his level. And the repubs should have ran Huckabee if he is so great. Face it the country leans more left than right and you conservatives are a dying breed. Too many of you cant think for yourself and are held hostage to the repubs and their idiotic candidates.

the funny thing is i could say that you libs are too brainwashed by the media, and do not think for yourselves because you buy into someones rhetoric with out any substance, huh weird

Hmmm, a lot to digest here:

If he ran such a flawless campaign while the Reps ran a joke campaign, isn't it interesting that Obama only won by about 5-6% points?

This is especially curious given the "left leaning" country you see.

hahaha that's the stupidest thing i've ever heard. funny you say he's a great leader altho he's never been the leader of anything other than as a community organizer.

that post also shows what you know about politics. funny conservatives can't think for themselves, but it's also funny how conservatives are labeled as the rich. does this mean there are more educated conservatives than liberals?

very well thought out and brilliantly put. You use a campaign as the only indicator of his leadership and called conservatives a dying breed. That's the perfect way to get some support for your theory.

I like Huck as a man but not sure about his tax plan. But, it might be the only way to get tax dollars out of illegals.

I dont say all conservatives are for the rich but the leadership mostly is. They are worried about the rich and big business. The oly reason they have any supporters that are not wealthy is fear. They use abortion, guns, terrorism and rascism to scare middle and lower class whites into voting for them.

I hate those Republicans who support entities that provide jobs to Americans.
