are you silly enough to pretend that the leadership of the Dem party is anything but rich? Are you also trying to pretend that the Republicans are the only party who uses fear in its message? The piece about scaring lower class whites into voting for them is especially genius.

What tactics do the democrats use to keep the "downtrodden" on their side. Seems to me we've had long stretches of dem controlled congress and dem presidents in our history, yet the downtrodden continue to be so. What gives?

well considering obama is for partial birth abortions that's against my morals. didn't scare me into voting against him.

Good thing liberals don't use fear (environment, healthcare, imperialism, greed, etc.) to scare people into voting for them :crazy:

I didnt say "are rich" I said "for " the rich. 99% of politicians are wealthy from both sides. Im talkin about the issues and positions they take. As far as libs using scare tactics I say maybe a little but the repubs whole election strategy is fear mongering. We all know its the repubs giving the rich all the tax loopholes and breaks so they end up paying way less than they should. They side with business over the consumer or employee when it comes to laws or court cases.

tax breaks for the rich, well look who pays 65% of our tax base, the top 15-20%

if we go under Premier Obama's plan, it seems to be a punishment to succeed, you make something of yourself, we are going to tax the fool out of you

how does this work when the vast majority of the dem constituency pays little to no taxes? Care to expound on how the rich are avoiding the tax man.

Also, your analysis of fear tactics is laughable - it's a Dem talking point. Perhaps they don't see these points as fear tactics because you actually believe these fallacies about Conservative doctrine.

Ironically, your condemnation of conservative values is completely fear laden. Classic.

That makes the Democrats decision to seat him even more curious.

They have to know that Blagojevich is a dead man walking. How much credence will Burris have in the Senate once Blagojevich is convicted. There will always be an air of suspicion around him.
