I could see some liberal coming out and actually making that statement in the wake of these 6 terrorists that were arrested this week...

Funny, I thought we were fighting them over there so we wouldn't have to fight them here..

It's not just the dems who think that we're creating more terrorists in Iraq, it's also EVERY intelligence agency we have and then some who have all come to the conclusion that this is happening..

Since our invasion of Iraq in 2003, Islamic terrorism has increased 607% worldwide and a 237% increase in fatalities from terrorist attacks.

Increase in terrorism does not mean we created more terrorists. You are what you are.

Ah yes, we're back to the "you're born with hate and thoughts of terrorism" approach....

:bs:

maybe not born with it, but as the faux mickey mouse in palestine is evidence of, hate is being taught at a very early age.

Or your side, foreigners in my land. Think I will all of a sudden buy into the idea of blowing myself up.

The Lefties LOVE things like this, so they can lay it on the President...Just to hammer their point home, i honestly think that the lefties (not the liberals on this board, im speaking of the Washington-Types) love combat casualties, as they will help their re-election campaigns. Personally, i am Libertarian/Conservative, but dislike career politicos above all, regardless of party (John Edwards chased ambulances before entering politics, so he is a step below)

Idiot. Nothing personal.

nothing personal, but this is textbook "flaming." Flagrant namecalling? Come now. I for one am impressed with OWB's reply to this and even more so that he didn't at least give you a warning. It would be well within his right, as far as I know. For me, once someone stoops to calling someone else an "idiot" because of their political views, it's hard to take them seriously after that.

It's really no big deal. Perhaps I should have been more clear. Obviously, the U.S. will always have a strong army (maybe through a draft eventually). However, if you combine deaths, injuries, lack of the right equipment, long tours in Iraq, a continued war on a tactic, poor healthcare, poor pay and a chance of war with other members of the "axis of evil" amongst other things, you can't help but think that the recruiting is going to take a big hit. I'm pretty sure the recruiting numbers are already down a bit.

If that seems idiotic, you're just not being realistic with the current situation.

Please let us know when someone (not necessarily "some liberal") actually makes that statement. Until then, does it really deserve a thread? Probably not.

Good grief no, but it sounded good.......

:)

I don't really care if you all pick on him, b/c he's never had a shot and never will. Nobody even listens to him in Congress - haven't ever, really. But he keeps getting elected.

Just no slander against any of the good Dems, okay? And I'll do the same for the good GOP ones...wait, are there any good GOP ones? J/K.

There is a reason why he is re-elected. The general population of Cleveland are socialist like he is.

You find me a good politician and I will give you a dollar.
