QUICK NOTE: I didn't see a fantasy football sub-forum, but would appreciate a heads up if this thread was supposed to go somewhere else.

So I have both D-Mo and Meach on my fantasy team this season, and I'm pretty excited about that. I can start one, but not both. Any thoughts?

The way I see it, it's experience and talent with a spotty track record (Meach) vs. talent without experience, but coming off a good camp (D-Mo).

I'm thinking I take D-Mo against the Denver as opposed to Meach against Green Bay. Yeah?

I don't know but you're going to lose a bunch of games if you're starting either one of those guys.

I would take them both off, I had Meach last year and ended up getting rid of him quickly. Moore is too risky at least at first, maybe later

Third receiver slot. I'm also starting Andre Johnson and DeSean Jackson. I'm less worried about winning. I just wanted to give myself a reason to keep tabs on a couple of former Vols.

I have a sneaky feeling that Meachem will have a lot better year than some think. Teams were able to keep Colston somewhat under wraps last season, plus he's been having knee issues. So, I think you will be rewarded for this pickup.

Green Bay was/is pretty good at pass defense, so I'd be a little hesitant giving the nod to Meachem. Personally, I'm chancing it and starting Moore on my team just because of all the good things coming out of Oakland and he's playing against Denver. Ehh, it's week one and anything can happen. Good luck.

It would be Moore without a doubt if he had a reliable QB to play with, and being that he will be starting Week 1. Brees has a lot of targets (Colston, Moore, Sproles, and Graham) for Meachem to contend with, but D-Mo does not have a reliable QB to get him the ball. You will have to take it on a week-by-week basis...Week 1, go with Mo.

Lol. Well I would definitely start Meachem. Shouldn't even be an issue. If you HAVE to start both at any point, I really hope you have a monster RB on your team.

Yeah. :D

I've got R. Mendenhall and M. Jones-Drew. It's not the best scenario, but it's okay.

This pretty much nails it for me. GB is a really tough pass defense, but that QB from LSU playing for the Raiders is a goofball and D-Mo is a rookie. It looks grim either way, but I might take a flyer on D-Mo.

Sounds like the real question is, do you start DeSean Jackson or Andre Johnson? ;)

Both, I'm pretty sure. Our league looks like this:

QB
QB
WR
WR
RB
RB
TE
WR/RB
WR/TE
K
DEF
DEF

So, there is a third or fourth receiver slot there, which is what I intend to use as my "Vol" slot. I picked up Hardesty in a late round as well. If he stays healthy (big if) he could be fun.

I don't recommend playing either Moore or Meachem until they prove they deserve to be played
