Well, for a program as crappy as Zona, beating the #2 team in the nation doesn't happen too often. They'll take it any way they can get it.It wasn't that well played a game . . . but the field rush at the end was well done.
if they win out, they are as deserving as anyone else, i have no problem with an undefeated KS team playing for the NT.Oh God...please don't let the Kansas Jayhawks be in the NC game.
same here.....If Oregon loses. Kansas will be #2 going into the Missouri game. I think Missouri will win that game to keep #2 cursed.
these three teams will eliminate themselves one at a time over the next 3 weeks. you're either going to haven an undefeated KS or a 1 loss MO/OK team coming out of this conf. and the winner will play in the NT game. of that there is little doubt.BCS Standings.
1. LSU
2. Oregon
3. Kansas
4. Oklahoma
5. Missouri
6. West Virginia
7. Ohio State
8. Arizona State
9. Georgia
10. Virginia Tech
Kansas still has to play Missouri to see who has to play OU. If Tennessee wins out, we play LSU.
Alot of things can still happen. Crazy year.

but as that happens, look behind them....WVU, OSU and ASU suddenly have a lot to play for. WVU and ASU are now huge Mich fans. WVU and OSU are big USC fans.
And all of them hate LSU right now......if LSU slips up, these three teams are making cases of why they should be in against the Big 12 winner.....
WVU needs to not only win the next two games, they need to win BIG, cause Uconn and Pitt aren't going to really boost you in the rankings. OSU beating Mich big in the Big House could carry some weight.....ASU can get some love by now beating AZ and USC...both two big games for the devils that will carry some weight, at least more than Uconn and Pitt. and Mich beats OSU.....ASU is rootging like hell for Ole Miss, ARk and anyone who plays LSU in the title game.
and Tidwell......you are correct........this is fantastic.
and i am sorry to see Dixon go down...i liked watching him play...the kid is good.
Ultimately, no. Mike Stoops is not the guy to make Zona competitve in the Pac-10, but he manages to stay.
oregon looked just as good offensively at the beginning of last year with dixon leading the way.
then they got blown out by cal in a game where he threw an int on the first offensive play of the game and didnt get much better after that, he and therefore the team fell apart. the season fell apart, dixon got benched, and the team didnt really even attempt to beat byu in their bowl game.
he IS the team.. i hope dixon is OK. oregon is so fun to watch with him at the helm its hard to root against them.
