Like someone else has pointed out in another thread, Denzel basically plays himself in every single role, he is a great actor but he has virtually no versatility.

Pitt has played an array of roles, thus making him the better actor.

Denzel could have never pulled off a role like "Mickey" in "Snatch".

He probably could, but it would be to bizarre to watch.

Denzel usually plays the protagonist/hero role. He was awesome as the bad guy in Training Day. Man on Fire was an atypical role as well, hero/vigilante.

Nah, he couldn't do it.

Pretty sure he has never done an accent in any of his movies, he basically plays himself or an extension of himself in every movie.

He is great at it and I enjoy watching him but Pitt has more acting chops.

Agree with GL, his performance in Training Day was amazing, yet if you get him out of his element i doubt he would do well...

Name a bad denzel movie.
I can't. I like them all.

Name a bad pitt movie. For me to say anything would be wrong. I haven't watched a lot of his movies. I did like Inglorious Basterds. I also liked Fight Club and Troy. Besides that, idk if I have watched another one with him in it.

You need to watch "Seven" and "Snatch", although he is just a supporting actor in "Snatch" he is great.

"Interview With The Vampire" is another good one.

Hard to believe that you haven't seen any of the "Oceans" movies.

Only two by him I don't like are "Seven Years In Tibet" and the one with Jolie, where they are assasins, name escapes me, it was pure crap but so everything with Jolie.
