Has anyone put in a thread to post for future reference an exhaustive list of all the Fulmer recruits who are no longer in the program?

Some people seem to think that Kiffin was not dealing with a talent deficiency when he got here.

I would leave off guys like Nu'Keese although I think they should be considered in terms of the hole that Dooley has to climb out of, he is on Kiffin.

What Fulmer players are gone?

If his last recruiting classes were reranked based on people who contributed as starters for UT, just how far down would we fall? Chris Donald etc seem to be far and wide in his last classes because he was doing a horrific job on recruiting/talent evaluation.

All I am saying is that we complain about fulmers last recruiting years and he really only had 1 bad year recruiting wise in his last 4. Development is another issue

Completely untrue. They were all bad as he didn't go after OL or DL. Also, you need to factor in the enormous number of players that never made it to school, didn't make grades while in school, couldn't avoid drugs, or were just flat out overrrated.

Probably need to look at the shoe sizes of Spurrier, Saban and Meyer to answer this question.

This list points to Fulmer's failures. Luke Stocker...and? This is a list of busts from all the top rated players in a bad class that saw us fall behind our rivals

2007: Class RANK WAS 5TH 7 ESPN 150'S ERICK BERRY, LENNON CREER, BEN MARTIN, GERALD JONES, CHRIS DONALD, ROLANDO MCLANCON, CHRIS WALKER, ART EVANS, KEVIN COOPER, DENNIS ROGAN, SAVION FRAZER, CODY POPE, DANARIS MOORE, GERALD WILLIAMS, BRANDON WARREN

Eric Berry (who would have come here if I was the coach thanks to his dad) was amazing. Chris Donald, Lennon Creer, Brandon Warren (who went to FSU first) all huge busts

I wanted an exhaustive list from an attack on him. But by defending him you did a decent job showing how awful it was.

2005 6 OL and 2 DL recruited
2006 6 DT and 4 OL recruited
2007 7 DT and 3 OL recruited

Kiffins "great" recruiting class
2010 3 DT and 2 OL

Recruiting classes were not horrible with the exception of 2008. Look at the DL recruiting the past 5 years we should be stocked at that poistion. Everyone keeps blaming the recruiting it wasn't the recruiting it was the development of the players. Fulmer can not be blamed for drug use and punks. Urban Meyer has no problem developing his 30 arrested players! Kiffins recruiting class of last year really doesnt touch 2 of Fulmers last 5 classes.

Don't try to confuse kpt with the facts; he's still trying to claim we were better in the 70's than we were this decade.

Are they Busts or did they not get Coached. All I am saying is these players had offers from other SEC schools. Recruiting wasnt the problem they were not coached up. I know the answer it must have been Trooper Taylors fault!!!!!!!!:cray:

In 2006, we took 2 DTs: Blake Garrettson and Jarrod Shaw.
In 2007, we took 3 DTs: William Brimfield, Donald Langley and Renaldo Melancon.

It's fun when the stuff after the semicolon makes the stuff before the semicolon look even stupider than your usual post.

Yeah, those numbers aren't accurate. Give us names, too.

I don't give a crap what Rivals or Scout or any other recruiting service rated the class. The fact is Fulmer's staff sucked at talent evaluation. How many of these 4 and 5 star kids from those classes ended up sucking? I think Phil was very good back in the 90's but he got complacent.

if these kids had lack of talent why were they getting recruited by other SEC schools.......ok I am bored busting balls in this thread...lets move on and hope Lincoln pulls a Whilhoit on Saturday!
