TBD. Cincinnati was awful last year but they ran the ball well. The only reason it feels disappointing is because some huge names were tossed out there. I trust Heupel though.

The bio on the UC page is impressive. Great rushing attacks seem to follow anywhere he's been. Also, a lot of local ties to NC, VA, KY, and OH. Not sure what his recruiting background is, but the pure coaching aspect looks great on paper.

I was completely underwhelmed by our last coaching hire from Cincinnati. Hopefully this guy does better.

We always talk about wanting to own NC again. He’s coached at East Carolina and Western Carolina. Sounds like he’s got it covered.

He gets a lot of solid on field production, top 5 rushing at Cincinnati last year, top 25 nationally and 2nd in acc at Louisville the two years prior.

Was told Sims not on initial list of possible replacements but was given highest recommendation from ECU HC Mike Houston who CJH has good relationship with through competing in AAC conference & getting to know each other at FCA conference in 2018. As he researched, spoke with others, and interviewed Da'Rail the choice became clear
