Wow first game all season and he looked great tonight. A little slow still on the defense but showed good effort on the boards.

12 points 10 boards 4 blocks, not bad Dreese not bad at all.

Who would have thought he'd have a good game?

He usually plays well when he gets to play with the starters. But then Zo forgets about him, even though he is a 3 point shooter they need.

Let's see him do that against UVA, UF, or Kentucky before I jump on the Derek Reese bandwagon. I need to see them look like a good team at some point against a good team.

the same KY that lost in the first round of the NIT?

But we beat them by 30 man didn't you know? UT's schedule is embarrassing to what it use to be when Pearl was here. Our schedule use to look a lot like Florida's this year. The SEC is a average basketball conference, so our big wins have to come out of conference a lot of the time. We went from playing Kansas, TX, Memphis, to playing Virginia and NCST. It's embarrassing the BS effort we put on against decent teams this year, and it's comical to see our fan base get so hyped up when Stokes and Maymon dominate a terrible team. I don't know if you guys have noticed but Martins offensive system limits movement and floor spreading, and then Maymon and Stokes sit in the paint and get blocked about 6-8 times a game against good teams. We are plan out embarrassing right now to be honest. I'm not a Pearl lover nor do I ever want him back at UT, but this crap is terrible to watch. Virginia sucks too. I've seen a lot of their games and they pack zone and are a pretty good defensive team. They are terrible on offense just like us, so if we want a win against Virginia you better be praying that Barton and McRae start off filling it up because god knows Martin can't plan any type of offensive game plan worth a crap for us to beat a zone.

You done now? Or are you going to keep stating what's already been said hundreds of time. Nobody is forcing you to watch. I and most other people don't like it either but constantly being a damn Debbie downer isn't going to do anything. There's still 19 games left. Again you don't HAVE to watch.

Gotta admit Reese played his guts out, and feel he helped spark that win.

I know Reese isn't going to be a game-changer every night and that his D isn't great, but he needs to be getting some minutes. He rebounds, can pass, and stretches the floor with his ability to shoot. Plus, his length can cause some serious matchup issues. It took 'Zo 10 games to figure this out?

This right here. And kudos IKrager, your guy may be the one to spark this team. He did play well knocking down shots and rebounding. But his major contribution on this team can be his shot contesting and that look ahead pass he made several times last night. Pushing the ball up the court isn;'t all speed and dribbling. He showed how we can get the ball up the court by looking ahead and throwing it to the 1st or 2nd guy up the court.

Agree w/ chris that his shot looks to have gotten quicker.

Awesome game Lebron Reese keep up the effort and CCM can't keep you off the court.

Whoaaa... lets not get carried away over a win against a team not that great. A win needed yes, but to gauge this as a signature win that will be looked at during selection time you're fooling yourself. The losses to WSU and NC State are more telling than this win.

Who in the world is claiming a victory over Morehead as a signature win?

Apparently people aren't allowed to be happy that the team showed some improvement or that a player who hasn't played much had a good game.
