I wonder what the average record for Div I teams is. I'd say it is lower than 9-3.

thankful...that we are not looking at 5-6 or 6-6 or worse, thankful that cpf and cut are together again, thankful that those of us who comment here arent really in charge week to week game to game (no offense to anyone in particular) thankful we are all vol fans! thankful we can look back and see a quality program over years and years that most of us never played for but would love to have, oh yeah, just thankful! go vols.

Actually in more than one word. It's about what I figured, but with a couple of breaks we could be in the SEC Championship game for a rematch and only one loss. When I looked at the schedule, I figured a 9-3 or 8-4 at worst. We should have beaten the Gators and also LSU. We were lucky to beat Bama. How good is Arkansas? Is LSU playing better than anyone in the SEC now?

FYI: The year the Vols won the NC,when I looked at the schedule the first two games-Syracuse and Florida were the biggest games on the schedule. I figured that if we split we'd have a great season and said:10-2.
If we were to win both we could be a top 3 team. I don't always get that lucky. Go back and see how many people predicted a 9-3 season for the Vols.

I believe that the Vols opponent in the Chick-fil-a Bowl will be the loser of the ACC Championship. Take your pick. Who would you rather the Vols play?
