Seriously. Schwartz is a proven, hell of a coach. I sincerely hope you are not trying to compare UT football to a NFL team. Not even apples and oranges.

Proven? Titans fans hated the guy until his last 2 years.

No we didn't, at least I didn't. He fielded some pretty good defenses in his time here, I'd take him as my head coach over Munchak right now.

0-16 in 2008

now they are about to be 5-0

now thats what I call rebuilding.

3 years.

EDIT: chill out. I was just stating the Lions rebuilding process. in no way am I comparing it to us. why do people on this board have to be so critical

Yeah you see what their D is doing to Chicago O-line. 10 false starts. And hitting Cutler alot. Think oi have seen this somewhere.

Great coaches make a difference. Really simple point actually.

Add Harbaugh with the 49ers. Alex Smith is now a top QB. He was going to be on the waiver wire before Harbaugh came on the scene. Now they are going to win their division in all likelihood. Stanford was down before Harbaugh came on the scene. LSU and Bama were down before Saban. Arkansas was down before Petrino. USCe was cannon fodder before Spurrier. Etc., etc.

Point well taken as it applies closer to home - even if the OP backed off his original statement.

I liked him too, but he was rough when he was first the DC. Remember the fire Jim Schwartz site? His last two years were dominant, but he got conservative a little too much at times.
