He has to pass a Science exam at the end of July and bring his SAT score up 100 points. If he does that, he says Tennessee told him that he will have an offer...

Thanks, thought that might be the case. I wouldn't mind getting another stud on the D. His transgressions shouldn't keep him from a college scholarship and our staff should have no trouble keeping him in line.....just keep Layla away from him.

With the studs coming in on D for '10 I dont think we will risk it on him. Yes he could play next year but still dont think we need to scare off better players to get this kid.

Moody is a big time 4 star on Scout and he would put us with the 5th best class and almost #4...

It would. Hood by himself moves us up to 8 or 9 and Moody would put us higher than that. Not top 5 though. Maybe like 7.

If he can get into school, he will have an offer. The staff feels they need LBs pretty bad right now and he can add immediate depth. If an Under Armour All American Lb falls in your lap you take him.

If he wasn't getting an offer from TN if he passes his test then he would have already announced for another school IMO. So he obviously has some reason to hold off until grades and test scores are final.
