Well the actor playing Louis turns 33 next month; which I know that doesn't mean much in acting since we've had 30 year olds playing high school kids, but I would say Louis is probably at least 27-28.

Fine ITK was 13. Lulz In all fairness though ITK could have been 5 years older than Dex. We don't know the age of either for sure (Louis and ITK I mean), is it likely that I'm right? No But it is possible.

Maybe, but I doubt this is the direction they go. For one it would be an extreme stretch and two, in some ways a repeat of his brother's story line.

FYI the actor that played Dexter's brother is actually about 6 months younger than Michael C. Hall.

I doubt it too, but I look smart if true. Lol His brother has popped up randomly the past couple years, so you never know with this show. Only an extreme stretch if Louis is 28, but if he's 22 not really a stretch.

Eh actual age and tv age is 2 totally different things. Half of those damn Dawson's river kids were 20+ but in high school.

Totally off topic, but Sundays are gonna be pretty.awesome starting this week. Dexter and Walking Dead, sprinkled with some Robot Chicken.

Well, there goes my Louis theory. Lol Kind of a waste of his character IMO

Yep, that was pretty poor writing IMHO. All that build up from the end of last season and Louis ends up being some spineless wuss who goes out with a whimper by the third episode of the season. Awful development.

I thought the season was going well until last night. Last night was really meh and honestly the whole mob storyline is getting a bit stale already. I hope they can rebound next week.

I agree 100% 2 of the things that I thought would be huge factors this year, just kinda ended. Like you said, you build Louis up to a adversary to Dex. And he goes out like that, while trying to drill a hole in Dexter's boat. Horribly done and a waste of an interesting character. I figured deb would struggle with with what Dexter does, and she is already almost ok with it. I hate the mob thing. And lets be honest a Russian mob would take Dexter out. It started out so promising and really took some bad turns last night. IMO

Dexter should of ended with season 4. The first episode of this season gave me hope, but I can tell just by reading the last few posts I haven't missed anything the past two weeks.

I really don't like Deb knowing but I'm still going to watch the show. It's like Weeds to me. Started off great and now it's just a bunch of random stuff. Good enough to watch but it's not it's nowhere near as good as the original idea.

Don't get me wrong... I still like the show. I watched the first couple seasons more than once. Now I find myself struggling to remember what happened the season before when new seasons start.

The first 2 episodes were really good, last weeks was a huge turd.

This.

Honestly I'm afraid this season is going to go down the crapper fast. I still can't believe how awful the Louis storyline ended up; almost a week later and I'm still not happy about it.

I'll continue to watch but it better have a quick turnaround.

I'm in the same boat. They built it up like him and Dex were gonna have a really interesting dynamic. They spent what 6 episodes slowly building up the tension. And it ends with him about to sink Dexters boat, and getting shot by the Russian Mafia. I would have liked to watch him and dex go at it, over the Mafia bull****!t.

I was hoping that when he explained to the Russians that he hated Dexter, that they would work together. Killing that character so soon was a mistake.

Eh, I personally found the Louis character annoying.

I think the way they lingered on his blood hitting the deck of Dexter's boat foreshadows that it will be significant.

I like the actor who played Titus Pullo on Rome. It will be interesting to see how that plays out.

I thought tonight's episode was really good. I was getting a good laugh out of Dexter going crazy for a few seconds when he was making the kill.

First then end the Louis story the way they did, now the mob guy ends like that. Now the blonde steps up to challenge him. Lol After a strong 2 episodes, it has fallen apart. Smh

Isaak is just being put on ice for the time being. This season has been great so far IMO. And Louis was seriously annoying. It's just too bad Dex didn't get to kill him personally.

The storyline is a bit all over the place, but I have to say I still think it's a ton better than last season.
