Spoilers!!!!!

Still a little blown away by the whole thing. I was very satisfied. Artuhur Mitchell is probably my favorite character from Dexter (much thanks to John Lithgow), and I didn't want to see him die, but he will live on through the absence of Rita.

Anyone think that Rita becomes like Harry to Dexter? With her appearing only to him and whatnot. After watching the interview after it went off, I did go back and watch the killing scene again, and it makes it even crazier to know what Trinity had done through the whole thing. The image of him sitting in the tub with Rita is one that's burned into my eyes.

I'm kind of pissed they got rid of Rita because I thought she was a good part of the show but it was definitely a shocker ending. Every time I feel like the series is about to get stale they do something so well done on their part with he surprise.

Just watched this weeks episode........WOW. My wife actually started crying when they showed Rita in the tub, didn't see that coming. Remember that Trinity said "It's already over" in the first episode this season to the girl in the tub then says it to Dexter before Dexter kills him.

I guess i'll be that guy and bump the thread about america's favorite serial killer. I hate to advocate this show because some 17 year old in Indiana said he killed one of his siblings because of this show. Anyway, I doubt they can find a better villain than Arthur.

I watched a trailer for this upcoming season and it sure looked like Dexter has went gay.....not that there's anything wrong with that.

People make excuses. This show isn't meant for 17 year olds, and even then it isn't making people into killers.

^True.

Some people are just greatly ****ed in the head, and the punk that killed his baby brother in Indiana is one of them and now when I watch I can't help but think there is some inspiring copycat smothering dogs in the basement trying to better hone his inner serial killer

People just need someone to blame whether it be Dexter, Grand Theft Auto, Vince McMahon, Eminem, ICP, or Marilyn Manson.

Still annoyed with killing off Rita. Still love the show, though. Too bad it comes on at the same time as the Family Guy tonight. Decisions, decisions.

As for the kid killing his brother from the show, the kid must not actually watch the show then. Wouldn't killing his brother in fact go completely against "The Code"?

Yes, unless his brother killed people.
