DG's Quick Thoughts After the Bama Win

I remember Mike Shula’s last game against us - he punted on 4th and six inches near mid field. It was late in the fourth quarter and we were holding a small lead but our D was really tired and having a hard time stopping their run game. I was never so relieved as when Shula trotted out the punter. After the season Bama canned Shula and the word was that the decision was made when Shula called that punt….

I couldn’t believe DeBoer went for it on 4th and 20 from his own 30. But I definitely liked the call from our perspective. And then when they threw well short of the first down line I felt like I was watching some our old play calls…

DeBoer is a good coach but the Bama fans are not going to be patient. Would love for them to spend a decade on the coaching carousel
Yeah sometimes good coaches make desperate decisions. He’s a good coach but I think you’re right that they won’t be patient

the moment DeBoer left his offense on the field for that 4th and 22 was the moment I realized that UT was actually gonna win the game

They may not be patient but with the looming money. I would say he gets 3 years and if he loses 3 or more each year it will be 3 years in H3LL. He seems like a nice guy, that's why my first impression was he just don't fit in Gump land.
