I wonder if you should have played the scarecrow in "The Wizard of Oz". . ...."If I only had a brain..."

Seriously, I look at the Men's team and wonder how long it will be before the USA women have t o look in their rear-view mirror.

But do continue to keep me in your prayers. I would never decline such an offer.

Coach,

Once there was a wicked hart
In the lovely land of VOLS
And a wickeder, wickeder,
Wickeder hart that never, ever was.
He filled the folks in BIG ORANGE Land
With terror and with dread
Till one fine day from admin
The news fell on his head,
And then gmule pronounced him: GONE!
And through Voldom the joyous news went running
The joyous news that the wicked old hart
Was finally done in
Ding-Dong! The hart is DONE!

Which old hart?

The wicked hart
Ding-Dong! The wicked hart is DONE!
Wake up you sleepy one

Rub your eyes

Get out tell ev'ryone
Wake up! The wicked old hart is DONE!

He's gone where the bammers go
Below, below, below - yo-ho!
Let's open up and sing

And ring those bells out...

Sing the news out!

Ding-Dong! The Lady-o
Sing it high and sing it low
Let them know the wicked old hart is GONE!

Why everyone's glad
He took such a crownin'

Bein' hit by a non-renewal
Is even worse than drownin'

Let 'em know the wicked old hart is DONE!!!

Coach, You can produce since you already have the scarecrow cast....if it can fill the role. Remember, at the end the scarecrow actually gets a brain, so that might be difficult for it to carry its acting abilities to that level. I suggest gule in the role as the mayor, and Volly has to have the role of Glenda.😀 We have plenty of trolls and misogynists in forum to cast all the monkeys

I'm excited to see what a fully healthy diamond can do for Tennessee the next couple seasons. My big concern is the defense. Defense, or lack thereof, has been the huge final four roadblock for holly.

Lady Vols defense has been solid. Our problem has been health, the health of our players, who miss large chunks of time to improve their game and jel as a team.

I am excited to see if Diamond is just all talk, like so many of the past Lady Vols recently.

You are funny! I'd love to play Glenda and ride around in a big orange bubble! There's no place like home

Well, I certainly see why you have the reputation you have on Volnation.

mayor? I ain't gonna settle for nuthin less than governor.

Oh gosh, glue, there is no governor! Maybe Coach would cast you as the Wizard. It does entail a lot of hot air and mirrors; you could just put your guledom in overdrive for it!:)

Volly, I can just picture you waving to the crowds. Perfect!

I think it's important that we stop looking at today's athletes through our own lenses. They are different. They express their confidence in themselves and their teams differently.

I read an article about a player who had a phenomenal freshman year. Played with a lot of injuries. Sat out... Came back with lingering injuries that prevented her from playing at the level she played at as a freshman (add to that poor coaching of the whole team). And now she is at a place now where she feels like she can get back to that level she played in her freshman year.

I think she will eventually be great but not here. Her greatness will be on display at the next level because this staff has not developed and coached her to maximize her potential. She is Breanna Stewart caliber talent but the difference is that Stewie was coached throughout her four years at UConn. Diamond was not coached at UNC. Calder just basically let them play. She has not been coached here either. Heck none of the girls have been coached here.

Since folks are picking on her not saying anything about her teammates, peep that she gives no credit to the coaching staff for realizing she is big dog now....
