Did anyone catch espn halftime show

Nope. Read the rest of my post as to how we interact with the good one.

I guess what I should have said is that we have been winning in the series, please forgive us for not whimpering when the 5-loss teams call us out?

And I can't speak to what Chris did during his recruiting time but he has been nothing but exceptional both on and off the field for UF.

Chris called Fulmer a liar in his ESPN weekly diary they published during his recruitment.

He said that Coach Fulmer couldn't be trusted because he benched his brother after 2 series of the UT/GA game.

The elder Leak, C. J., appeared to not even know where he was during the GA game. He was really lost in the huddle and behind center.

A freshman QB was inserted who almost pulled off the upset.

After that it was a constant thing in Chris' weekly online diary.

Coach Fulmer pulled his scholarship offer, Chris’ dad came to Knoxville to try and smooth it over, but it was too late. UT never put the scholly back on the table for Chris and he ended up in Gainesville.

That's why UT fans want him to fail. Of course, we want everyone to fail who is playing against us.

As to the Meyer thing, I believe most fans here feel the media has embarrassed themselves with their manner of doting on Urban. I have publicly made my sentiments clear. I don’t believe his offensive system will work in the SEC. It lends itself to the premise that there’s always a weakness in the front seven of every defense. In many SEC defenses, that’s just not the case.

He may turn out to be the second coming of Spurrier, but most of us here just wish ESPN would allow him to win a few SEC games before they declare him Coach of the Year.

As with every message board; you'll always find a few who get carried away with their posts from time to time. Shucks, I'll bet you've probably done that on a Florida board at some point. I know I have. It is all in fun and love of the game though.

Regards,

Yeah! shockandawe didn't want to discuss my response I guess.

It's better to imagine Chris is a choir boy than the arrogant jerk he really is.

I'm SEC all the way and I pull for the Gators to win when it doesn't adversely affect us, but I hope Leak bombs. Nothing would please me more than to see him lose his starting position.

The Florida center is concerned about taking " the swamp" back. Must be worried. We MUST,pound on Leak like the Canes did last year. He don't like it and will lie down. Tommorrorw is "Pound Chrissy Night." :bash:

Man, with that attitude I hope you don't get mad when you come to Neyland and everybody cheers for the Vols. It's a UT fan board! I don't have to like or respect Florida here if I choose not too. As a UT fan who took 2 trips to watch games in Gainesville, I saw nothing but complete disrespect from most of their fans. UF has not been a force in the SEC until the 90's and has a much younger fan base than most of the traditional elite SEC teams. This does not allow the UF fans to appreciate and respect tradition and rivalries as much as most teams.

I'm w/ OldVol in hoping he gets waxed tomorrow night. I don't want him to get hurt. I want him to play so badly that UM pulls him and benches him. That would last a lifetime!

It is easy to make comments on a board where everyone agree with you and you are not challenged. I am not here to "stir up stuff", I am here to have a constructive dialogue with a group of fans that i know see things differently than I do. I like the challenge of talking football, not blind fanaticism. If you want this to be a private forum so you can all just tell each other how great you are, then so be it. Whats the fun in that???

I have been hit with cups full of beer, spit on, and tripped while going down stair at you stadium, but I believe those idiots to be the exception rather than the rule at UT. And trust me on this, if you made it out of the SWAMP alive, you can bet that any negative experience you had was an exception because if it wasn't.....you would not be here right now.

im honestly about to cry.. i honestly dont beleive you had anything thrown on you because unlike florida i beleive we actually have a lick of class. lets recall (not mentioning any direct names) when certain coaches wives havin ice thrown at them and being spit on.... so that in itself lets me have no mercy for a florida fan! but we would never stoop that low

You don't have to believe it for it to be true. Simply stated, every fan base has it's few that make the rest look bad and you are kidding yourself if you think that this does not happen and that UT has cornered the market on good sportsmanship. Not to mention that I had a tag on my car torn off while I was in the game. So we can keep going back and forth all day and night on this subject but it does nobody any good.

Nuff said pj. We're appreciative of your input s&a, but this is after all a Volunteer board. You surely can't expect the folks here to be all warm and fuzzy regarding your beloved Gators. There has been plenty of history between the 2 schools (read the Darth Visor years) that would lend the Big Orange fans to not be overly complimentary of the Gator nation. Dialogue is fun and interesting but to be incredulous that the folks here are making disparaging remarks about Florida is somewhat naive..

just to show more lack of respect, listen to this.
on a college game day preview, corso and hirbstreet were asled which florida team is most likely to lose.

corso : fsu agaisnt number 17 boston college
hirbstreet: miami agaisnt number 23 clemson

and no one said florida against number 5 tennessee, higher then all the previous teams mentioned in this post.

Every year Florida is always favored against Tennessee, even when Zook was the coach. Fulmer and Co. never any respect! Its got to be the time that Tennessee dominates the East....again. It all comes and goes in a Cycle. All I have to say is run it 50 times and it all will come out in the wash! ESPN SUCKS!

ESPN is great! UT always plays better as the dog, so the more motivation the "experts" want to give UT the better.
