Did Jim Chaney Fire Sal Sunseri?

Is this true?

I wouldn't think that Jim Chaney would have the authority to fire Sal Sunseri.

I would think that with Dooley gone that would fall directly to Dave Hart, and is Dave Hart going to give an interim coach the authority to authorize that kind of buyout?

LOL! That would be nice, but as an interim coach he'd have no real power.

It would be great if he did. I'm not saying Dooley is/was/will ever be an amazing coach but the main reason he got fired is because Sunseri's defense was so terrible we had to score 40 plus points to even have a chance to win. I hope Sunseri knows that.

Solid tweet of the day candidate. RT @wilx2: @wesrucker247 Rumor that interim HC Jim Chaney fired Sal Sunseri tonight.

Guys...he was mocking a tweet that he received. Settle down...

Wouldn't surprise me if Chaney were negotiations with Gruden to bring him in as a co-headcoach.

There was a guy from Pa. that used to call Hyams once a week and tell him about Sunseri at Alabama and how Tennessee should go after him as their HC. He claimed Sunseri would be the greatest coach since Neyland. This was a couple years ago way before Sunseri was hired here. I wonder what that guy is thinking now?

I know cool story bro

Makes no sense. Sunseri will more than likely be moved back to LB coach next year at TN so he can finish out his contract. That would save the University a million plus buyout money.

Gents, lets be clear hear and not so quick to assume you know more. Rucker was shining a somewhat satirical light upon this post.
